Why Vote for Travis Montgomery?

Madras isn’t just a city on a map to Travis—it’s home. It’s where he chose to plant deep roots, where his children go to school, and where he opens the doors of his small business every morning.

Travis isn’t a career politician. He’s the neighbor you see in the bleachers at Madras High School track meets and volleyball games, cheering on our kids. He’s the local business owner on 4th Street who has a treat box on the counter so folks stopping by can say hi to his dogs. He’s a dedicated volunteer at church, a boat owner who loves summers on Lake Billy Chinook, and a friend who sits across the desk from local families during both good times and tough moments.

When you live and work right in the heart of a town, you don't look at local issues through political lenses—you see them through the eyes of the people living next door.

Travis is running for Mayor because he cares deeply about where Madras is headed. As Central Oregon continues to expand, our town needs practical, common-sense leadership who will listen to residents, protect our small-town heart, keep our neighborhoods safe, and ensure city government stays fiscally responsible while making decisions that impact our future.

Travis brings real-world experience, an approachable style, and a genuine commitment to doing what’s best for all of us. He’s ready to roll up his sleeves and serve—not as a politician, but as your neighbor, your advocate, and your Mayor.
