Travis Montgomery
Travis Montgomery has called Jefferson County home for 22 years, planting permanent roots as a Madras homeowner, father, and local downtown business owner. Travis has raised two children in the local 509J school district. His son graduated from Madras High School in 2025, and Travis can regularly be found in the stands or along the sidelines supporting his daughter at her Madras High School volleyball games and track meets, rarely missing a match or meet at home or away.
As the owner of Farmers Insurance Agency on 4th Street—where his yellow lab Sage and rescue dog Vegas are regularly seen sitting in the front window—Travis works daily with local families and fellow business owners. Beyond his business, Travis is a dedicated member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Madras, volunteering several hours a week as their sound engineer for both in-person and online services. In his free time, you can often find him on Lake Billy Chinook with family and friends enjoying his boat purchased locally from Madras Marine.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, Travis brings a practical, community-first perspective to public safety and city government. He is running to ensure Madras makes smart decisions about its future, protects its small-town character, and maintains financial accountability.
